Cameronne M. Taillon, J.D., provides her clients with a full spectrum of services related to estate planning. A graduate of the George Mason School of Law, Ms. Taillon is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Ms. Taillon started her practice in 2002 as a litigation associate at a law firm in Prince William County. There, Ms. Taillon represented a variety of clients in the courts of Northern Virginia on matters of family law, contract dispute, adverse possession, landlord/tenant disputes. medical malpractice, and all other litigation issues.
In 2007, Ms. Taillon accepted a position as Attorney-Advisor at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in the Office of the Chief Counsel (OCC). At TSA, Ms. Taillon dealt with issues of national security, anti-terrorism, and privacy law. Ms. Taillon advised the agency on its launch of the TSA Mobile App by negotiating terms of service with Apple in conjunction with the General Services Administration. Ms. Taillon was primary counsel to the TSA Blog and TSA’s social media services.
After a pausing her practice to stay home with her two small children, Ms. Taillon launched Taillon Law PLLC an estate planning firm in North Arlington in 2020. Ms. Taillon recently lost her husband and she is passionate about helping her clients understand the importance and the legal intricacies of estate planning. Especially being personally familiar with how valuable a well thought out, and regularly updated, estate plan can be in the administration of an estate, Ms. Taillon feels called to this area of law.
In April 2020, Ms. Taillon joined Legacy Counsel Law PLLC as Of Counsel. She is proud to be a part of this firm for its dedication to client services, and capability to help clients in all matters of estate planning and estate administration. Her practice focuses on comprehensive estate planning, creation of trusts including special needs trusts, advanced medical directives, powers of attorney, and all other instruments and strategies that may be necessary for the preservation and protection of her clients’ assets according to their goals and aspirations.
Prior to her graduation from law school in 2002, Ms. Taillon earned her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University in 1998. Her family originally hails from Indiana, but she grew up in Northern Virginia, graduating from high school in 1994 from The Madeira School in Mclean.
She currently serves on the membership committee of the Arlington Business Connectors and is the past Vice-President. In the past she served as the Circuit Representative to the Young Lawyers Conference of the Virginia State Bar. She is also a member of Mothers of North Arlington (MONA),and served on the board of her neighborhood school PTA.
Ms. Taillon lives in Arlington with her two children, plus a Goldendoodle and a Collie. When she is not driving her kids to their various sporting events on the weekends, she enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, and book club.
